- David Redfern

David Redfern (born 7 June 1936 in Ashbourne, Derbyshire) is an English photographer specialising in music photography. He has been a photographer for 45 years and has over 10,000 pictures in his collection. His collection includes many famous photos of the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. In 1999 he published a book about his life call The Unclosed Eye. He currently lives in London, England.

Start of his career
He started off photographing jazz festivals such as the Beaulieu Jazz Festival in Beaulieu, Hampshire.
President of BAPLA
David Redfern is president of BAPLA British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies starting from 1992 until present.[1]
