John Crowley (born 1969) is an Irish
BAFTA -winning television director theatre andfilm director who has received critical acclaim in both mediums and has had huge success on both sides of theAtlantic with his theatre work.Fact|date=April 2007He has a degree in philosophy from
University College Cork .Crowley is a former associate director at the
Donmar Warehouse Theatre in London.In May 2005 Crowley, along withDanny Boyle , launched theUK Film Council Development Fund's “25 Words or Less: Director’s Cut” scheme to develop a feature film project.
