Modern Rock , also known as "Classic Alternative".The station was originally formed by Rollings Communications in 1993 with the call-letters WUBB (Bubba Country 93.5 FM). It was a satellite programmed radio station with one live show. The live show was a Sunday Night Old-Time Country show hosted by a local man, nicknamed "The Old-Timer".
In circa late 1994/early 1995, the station switch from its country format to a talk radio format. The syndicated shows consisted of the Rush Limbaugh show, Alan Colmes show, Tom Leykis, and so on.
