Thomas Joshua "Tom" Elliott (born November 9, 1990) is a young English footballer who currently plays as a forward for Leeds United. Elliott made his bench debut for the Leeds first team against Hull City. He made his debut the following match against Norwich City. Elliott has since signed a new deal with the club and has featured in the first team on several occasions. Elliott was named in the England under-17 squad for the Algarve Tournament this year. Elliott is the first ever Leeds United player to make his senior debut for the Yorkshire club whilst still at school. Tom failed to get games regulary during the 07/08 season but now looks to push on in the 1st team at Elland Road. He is considerred to now be the 4th choice striker at Elland Road behind Jermaine Beckford, Lucciano Becchio and Enoch Showunmi. On 31st August, Elliot was linked with a move to Newcastle United along with two other United youngsters.
