Marshall High School, in Falls Church, VA. A 6'2", 210-lb. safety from theUniversity of Virginia , Lyle played in nine NFL seasons from 1994 to 2002 for the Rams,Washington Redskins , andSan Diego Chargers .From 1995 to 1998, Lyle intercepted 23 passes, the most in the NFL during that period. During the
1996 NFL season , Lyle, along withTyrone Braxton of theDenver Broncos , led the NFL in interceptions with 9. Throughout his career with the Rams, Lyle also served as the team's holder.
