Gaindakot is a small town next to
Narayanghat inNepal . It lies in the bank of Narayani River and is backed by numerous mountains. Since this village is just across the famous Narayanghat (or Narayangadh) city, it has got ample opportunities for development and the population has been growing at a fast pace.There are several small to big industries in Gaindakot. Bhrikuti Pulp and Paper factory being the nation's only paper factory. Gaindakot has got numerous small scale textile industries, boring industries, metal industries and gas refilling industries.
Gaindakot is very famous for it's plan land suitable for agriculture. Rice, Wheat, Mustard, Corn, Potato etc are the grown across the seasons.
There are several schools in this small town, educating thousands of children.
Gaindakot is famous nationwide for Maula Kalika Temple, a temple which lies at the top of a mountain and where people have to go on stairs climbing around 2 KM. From this temple, several districts of Nepal can be viewed, as it lies at the top of a very high mountain.
