The tombs of Yi Sun Shin (not to be confused with the more famous admiral of the same name) and Lee Won Ik are in the city, just north of
Gwangmyeong Station . Lee Won Ik's cultural relics are also on display here. The city is also home to theGwangmyeong Velodrome , the largest domed structure in South Korea.Industry
The city hosts big firms in spite of being small scale. In total, there are 630 companies employing 11,636 persons. Kia Motors factory located at Soha-dong, Gwangmyeong City is the first general car factory Because of being nearest car factory to Seoul, it is convenient to find and get labor and resource.
