Attingham Park was designed by George Stewart and was built in
1785 for Lord Berwick on the site of an earlier house built to his own designs byRichard Hill of Hawkstone . Later, John Nash added the picture gallery.The
park was landscaped byHumphry Repton and includeswoodland s and adeer park , with between 200 and 300 head ofFallow deer (according to season).The grounds also include walled
garden s and anorchard .The
River Tern , which flows through the middle of the park, joins the largerRiver Severn near the park boundary.External links
