WJQM's history dates back to October 2005, when
Mid-West Family Broadcasting began testing the 106.7 FM signal under the call letters WYZM, airingsmooth jazz music normally heard on sister stationWMGN during its "Magic Sunday Morning" program.On
December 1 ,2005 , WYZM changed to WSLK and began simulcasting theclassic hits format of sister stationWHLK ("The Lake at 93-1 and 106-7").At 4PM on
January 26 ,2007 , WSLK broke away from the "Lake" simulcast and began aRhythmic Contemporary format, identifying themselves as WJQM "106.7 Jamz." This move was in direct response to WKPO dropping the Rhythmic format two weeks earlier.Present
106.7 Jamz is now staffed locally by Program Director/Afternoon Personality JD Garfield (formerly of WRPW-Bloomington Illinois) Music Director/Night Personality Brandon Marshall (formerly of B100 in Cedar Rapids Iowa).

Big Boy's Neighborhood Monday through Friday 5am to 9am and Saturdays from 6am to 9am. Big Boy's Neighborhood is syndicated on over 30 radio stations nation wide from their home-base at KPOW in Los Angeles California.
