The Gallant Seventh

The Gallant Seventh

The Gallant Seventh was John Philip Sousa's most famous march in the 1920's. It was written in 1922 and is the only one of all Sousa marches that has two breakstrains, following pattern IAABBCDCEC(EC). The tempo is slower than the majority of Sousa marches.
