Episode recap

Jon refuses to let Garfield sleep and Rosalina bounce on the couch all day, so he pushes them outside. Soon after, a filmmaker named Federico Fettuccini rides by in his limousine, and he (and his yesmen) agree that Garfield and Rosalina would be the perfect ones to star in his next movie. Also two other partners would be their partners.
Jon and Garfield go to the film studio the next day, where Garfield and Rosalina learn that they will be the partners for a cat named Fluffy and a girl named Ann (Ann is an old friend of Rosalina). The first scene has her worrying that something bad will happen to Fluffy and her; then a thug begins to push a grand piano out the window on top of them. Then Mr. Fettuccini blows a whistle, which instructs an assistant to bring Garfield and Rosalina with Fluffy; the piano lands on Garfield and Rosalina and the other partners soon after. (Ann: I bet that hurt her me more than it did my partners.)
In the next scene, Ann worries about a shark coming after Fluffy and her as they are out canoeing. Garfield and Rosalina are then brought in again with Fluffy, and just as he picks up Ann's dropped oar the shark comes after him, which Garfield only succeeds to save Fluffy and Ann by peppering the shark.
Garfield kisses Fluffy; Mr. Fettuccini doesn’t notice, sits down in the chair and commences the scene. In the forest scene Ann worries that she and Fluffy will be attacked by a bear; then Garfield is brought in with Fluffy. The bear starts moving toward the partners until Garfield saves Fluffy and Ann.

In the last scene of the movie Ann worries about a mountain lion getting them. Garfield and Rosalina are brought in again, and they realize a "real" mountain lion, and they get it KO'ed.

The assistant then informs Jon that the movie is over and Garfield is fired. Garfield then sees Fluffy being served a large meal, so he blows the whistle, which makes the assistant take Fluffy away and seat Garfield down to eat it. Ann then imforms Garfield farewell, and the bear has eaten Fluffy.

Notes

*Odie does not appear in this episode.
*During his song, Garfield envisions winning the A-cat-o-me Award (which is shaped like a mouse), an obvious parody of the Academy Award.
*It is revealed Fluffy can speak in this cartoon. She barely speaks very few lines.

Goofs

*When Garfield first appears on the red carpet, his nose appears black.
*Why would the A-cat-o-me Award have a figure of a mouse on it?
