* Chris Bourque - guitar, vocals
* Jamie Kronick - drums
* Laurent Bourque - lead guitar
* Chandler Groulx - bass
* Marco Taucer - guitar, backup vocals

History

The Spark started out in 2002 as a fourpiece, consisting of both Chris and Laurent Bourque, Taucer, and Thomas March playing bass guitar. All four boys attended the prestigious private school Lycée Claudel together. They did not take the band very seriously. March was kicked out later that year.

With March out, the three remaining members recorded songs in Bourque's house as "The Starmakers". They didn't perform live. During this time, Taucer decided to stop playing drums and start playing the guitar for the Starmakers. One of the Starmakers' songs, titled "Let's Go", caught the attention of Kronick, who found that the band was looking for a drummer. At this point, the band changed its name to "The Spark".

The Spark recorded its first EP in April, 2004 at The Attic Studios. This EP was called "Nothing Left To Say".

The Spark has now disbanded, and their official website is defunct.
