Sue Monroe

Sue Monroe is a British children's TV personality, professional puppeteer and presenter.

Monroe was a continuity presenter for the BBC's television channel for young children, CBeebies, providing links alongside fellow presenters Sidney Sloane, Pui Fan Lee, Chris Jarvis and Nicole Davis. She joined the presentation team shortly after the station launched and remained a presenter until March 2006.

Monroe has provided voices and has puppeteered for a number of children's shows, including "Poppy" in Playdays, "Tiggs" in The Shiny Show, and also "Webster" for CBeebies continuity links. She has also worked as a presenter for Radio Five.

Currently, Monroe is the main continuity presenter of the "Wakey Wakey" strand for the breakfast TV station GMTV, broadcast on ITV1 at weekends and on ITV4 and the CITV Channel most weekdays.
