December 12 ,1981 ) is a Malaysian footballer who is a striker forSelangor FA . He is a member of the Malaysian national team and also has played for the Malaysian Pre-Olympic squad. He is well known for his finishing ability. He also possess good technique as praised by the legendaryLiverpool F.C strikerIan Rush during a clinic for Malaysian strikers. Apart from that, he is one of the first batch of Malaysians to train overseas.Career
The public started to notice him when he played in the
U-14 Malaysia football team. Since then, he went a step further and trained atRC Strasbourg , often loaned to their sister clubFCSR Haguenau . After unable to tie a contract withRC Strasbourg , he returned home to played for his hometown club,Kedah FA .With Kedah FA, He became an instant hit with the local fans and also the envy of other clubs in the
M-League . But, towards the end of his career withKedah FA , he had been plagued with knee injuries. In December 2006, he signed forSelangor FA and made a couple of appearances as a substitute since recovering from his injury. He scored his first goal forSelangor FA in the 1-2Malaysia Cup match loss againstMelaka TMFC on 17 March 2007.He represented Malaysia under 23 for the 2003 SEA Games in
Hanoi ,Vietnam where Malaysia finish as bronze medalist, the olympic qualifier in 2000 and 2004, theAsia English Premier League Cup and also in the senior team for2002 Tiger Cup inThailand , helping Malaysia to a 4th place finish.He also part of Malaysia disastrous
AFC Asian Cup 2007 . He was selected byNorizan Bakar even he has never represent Malaysia since 2004 because of injury problem.
