Schreier refinement theorem
- Schreier refinement theorem
In mathematics, the Schreier refinement theorem of group theory states that any two normal series of subgroups, ending with the trivial group, have equivalent refinements.
The Schreier refinement theorem provides an elegant proof of the Jordan-Hölder theorem in group theory.
