Paul Myers (musician)

Paul Myers (born 1962 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian indie rock singer-songwriter broadcaster and author.

Biography

He was the front man and songwriter for the band The Gravelberrys, who had a Canadian alternative hit with "Wonder Where You Are Tonight", in the early 1990s. He has also written the authorized biography of the Barenaked Ladies, "Public Stunts Private Stories", published in Canada by Madrigal press and in the U.S.A by Simon & Schuster's Fireside Books imprint. His second rock biography, "It Ain't Easy: Long John Baldry and the Birth of the British Blues", is published by Greystone Books (Fall 2007).

He is the brother of Canadian comic actor Mike Myers.

Paul Myers hosted a talk radio show on CHMJ in Vancouver, British Columbia up until 2004, when the station abandoned "talk radio" in favour of an all sports format. (The station has since had great success with an "all traffic" format) He was also one of the hosts of the "Movie Guys" segment on Shaw TV's "Urban Rush" from 2003 until 2006, when he left Vancouver for the San Francisco area.
