- Regent Centre Interchange
Regent Centre is a large
business park in theGosforth area ofNewcastle upon Tyne ,England .The Centre has its own
transport interchange ; consisting of a station on theTyne and Wear Metro , as well as a medium-sized bus station that serves as an interchange for commuters who do not wish to travel through the City Centre. Some Metro services terminate at Regent Centre Metro station due to its proximity to the Metro depot. The station is heavily used by Regent Centre workers and the students of the nearby Middle and High schools.History
The Regent Centre station stands on the site of the West Gosforth station of the
Ponteland Railway .
