Hebel is a town of approximately 18 inhabitants in Balonne Shire, in south-western Queensland, Australia. It is situated convert|4|km|mi|0|lk=on north of the border with New South Wales on the Castlereagh Highway. Hebel is close to the well known opal mines of Lightning Ridge.
