Judicial District of Amazonas

The Judicial District of Amazonas is one of the 28 Judicial Districts of the Judicial System of Peru.

The headquarters is in the city of Chachapoyas and its jurisdiction extends over the entire Amazonas Region.

It was created by the Law Nº 9397 and was established August 20, 1942 under the presidency of Manuel Prado Ugarteche.
