Kallar Kahar

Kallar Kahar is a Union Council, subdivision, of Chakwal District in Punjab, Pakistan [ [http://www.nrb.gov.pk/lg_election/union.asp?district=6&dn=Chakwal Tehsils & Unions in the District of Chakwal] ] . It is known as a tourist destination and is located 25 kilometres southwest of Chakwal along the motorway. It is famous for its natural gardens, peacocks and a salt water lake. It is 125km away from Rawalpindi.

The Katasraj temples are situated in Choa Saidanshah tehsil (CSS), in 1981 a project was started named as Pak German Project (PGP). There also a degree and college for Mines diploma. There is a Cadet college in kallar kahar named Cadet College Kallar Kahar which is functional since 1998 and is producing a variety of professionals including army cadets , doctors and engineers.

History

Lying 30 miles southwest of Chakwal on the Chakwal-Sargodha road, Kallar Kahar has always been renowned throughout the country for its peacocks and its fresh water lake and for the Takht-e-Babri, a flat stage built of stone by emperor Babar to address his army while coming down from Kabul in the quest of the crown of Delhi. During his stay at Kallar Kahar he also planted a garden, which still exists, called the Bagh-e-Safa.

Kallar Kahar & Sardhi

With the construction of the motorway that passes by the edge of the lake, the number of tourists visiting Kallar Kahar has increased manifold, and the town surrounded by verdant hills, promises to become a tourist attraction if properly developed. A museum of fossils of the area has also been built by the Archaeology Department in the District Council Rest House.Near Kallar Kahar is the beautiful village Sardhi, it is an historical Village in District Chakwal in this Village the famous palace of Daak Bangla. Now at this time Sardhi is a picnic point palace. In sardhi the beautiful cricket ground. In district chakawal this ground only one of the beautiful cricket ground same like Melbourne cricket ground. Ransial

Ransial is a village of Kallar Kaha, it is located next to some hills and a small river. It also has a shopping centre and a big cricket ground called Jaba.Main men of Ransial "Malik Muhammad Taurez"Malik Azmat Shahzad"
