William Wilson "Bill" Hallman (March 31 1867 – September 11 1920) was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was an American Major League player, who played for six teams in 4 leagues during his 14 year career, including one stint as a player-manager for the by|1897 St. Louis Browns. Career

Post-career

Bill Hallman went on to be a Dutch Comedian in several silent movies. One of his sons (William Hallman Jr.) became a Philadelphia police captain and another (Harry Hallman Sr.) was a champion pool player.Fact|date=July 2007 He died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was interred at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania.
