Unterseeboot 123 (U-123) has been the designation of three submarines of the German Navy.

Unterseeboot 123 (1916) was aType UE 2 U-boat of theKaiserliche Marine ordered from Blohm + Voss ofHamburg on27 May 1916 . She was launched on26 January 1918 and commissioned on20 July 1918 , under the command of Karl Thouret. She had no chance to conduct any war patrols before Germany surrendered. She ran aground on the English east coast on the way to be broken up in 1921 [http://uboat.net/wwi/boats/index.html?boat=123] .
*Another U-boat, the UB-123 sank the RMS|Leinster onOctober 10 , 1918, circa 517 perished. UB-123 struck a mine onOctober 18 in theNorth Sea and was lost with all hands.
