Lefkoniko

Lefkoniko (Greek: "Λευκόνοικο", Turkish: "Geçitkale" or "Lefkonuk") is a village in the Famagusta District of Cyprus. It lies in the self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which occupies the northern third of the island, was created after the military Turkish invasion in 1974, but is still not recognized by any other country apart from Turkey. The so-called “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” has been declared "legally invalid" by the United Nations Security Council in resolutions 541(1983) and 550(1984) therefore there is no such entity as “North Cyprus” as the occupied areas. The only legal political entity on the island is the Republic of Cyprus, which is the legal government and represents all of the people on the island including both Greek and Turkish Cypriots.

All the original residents of Lefkoniko are refugees since then and Turkey has been populating the town and all the North Occupied land with settlers from Turkey, trying to alter the demographic population in that area. [http://www.kypros.org/Occupied_Cyprus/ Occupied Cyprus]

Lefkoniko is also the location of an airport, used mostly for military purposes. Along with Ercan, it is recognized as a legal port of entry only by Turkey.

The above airports are build and located at the town of Lefkoniko and the village of Tymbou land on stolen property of Greek Cypriot refugees who formed the 5000 strong population of this exclusively Greek Cypriot populated town and village. These refugees are entitled under Cyprus and EU law to sue anyone for trespassing on their property. They are the legal owners of the Tymbou & Lefkoniko airport land and by flying there people are violating their rights and commit a criminal offence, which is punishable by 2 years imprisonment, which is enforceable in the Untied Kingdom and all EU countries through extradition treaties between Cyprus and all EU member states.

By flying to occupied Cyprus you are liable for:

1.- The Violation of Cyprus laws which declare the use of all ports and airports in the occupied areas illegal.

2.- The Violation of Cyprus laws which prohibit the illegal exploitation of refugees property which now carry a sentence of two years in prison.

3.- The Violation of Cyprus laws of trespass.

4.- The Violation of the European Convention of Human Rights (Right to property).

6.- The Violation of EU customs regulations which prohibit the use of the illegal ports and airports.

7.- Promoting Illegal entry into the Republic of Cyprus.

8.- Promoting Illegal entry into the European Union.

9.- Promoting Illegal trade across EU borders.

10.- Encouraging the violation of Cyprus and EU laws through advertising and the use of illegal flights

11.- The Violation of the UN Resolutions 541(1983) and 550(1984)

12.- The Violation of the Cyprus Flight Information Region.

13.- Promoting Illegal entry into Cyprus Air Space.

14.- Ignoring the Air Traffic Control Regulations.

15.- Promoting flying without insurance.

16.- Illegal designation of an air flight.
