Iowa House of Representatives since 1996. He received his BA fromWartburg College and his MSW from theUniversity of Iowa .Foege currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Administration and Rules committee; the Appropriations committee; the Education committee; and the Human Resources committee. He also serves as the chair of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee. His prior political experience includes serving as the chair of the Linn County Human Resources Management Board from 1992-1995 and serving on the School Board of Directors for Marion Independent Schools from 1969-1973.
