Alec Foege

Alec Foege is an American author and magazine journalist. A former contributing editor to "Rolling Stone", he is the author of three books: "Confusion Is Next: The Sonic Youth Story" (St. Martin's, 1994); "The Empire God Built: Inside Pat Robertson's Media Machine" (Wiley, 1996); and an upcoming book about the history of Clear Channel Communications, the world's largest radio company, due out in 2007 from Faber and Faber/Farrar, Straus & Giroux. His writing also has appeared in "The New York Times", "People," "Mediaweek", "Adweek", "Fortune Small Business", "Spin", "Variety", "Vogue", "Corporate Counsel" and Veronis Suhler Stevenson's "Communications Industry Forecast".
