About Valyermo

The town of Valyermo is known for being the home of Saint Andrew's Abbey. Saint Andrew's is a Roman Catholic monastery (Benedictine) located in the foothills of the Antelope Valley. Saint Andrew's offers daily tours and hosts the annual "Valyermo Fall Festival".

Dan Empfield, one of the instrumental figures in the developing the sport of triathlon, resides in Valyermo.
