Burlingame Intermediate School

Burlingame Intermediate School (BIS) is a public middle school in the Burlingame School District. It is located in Burlingame, California on the San Francisco Peninsula. It enrolls about 800 students in grades 6-8. The current principal is Pam Scott and the vice principal is Greg Barnes.

They run their own T.V. broadcast called KBIS that talks about school news and events. It runs from 8:30 to 8:40, sometimes longer on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Situated adjacent to Franklin Elementary School, the school has several buildings instead of one main building; these "wings" are numbered 4 through 12.

*Dianna Agron, class of 2000. American actress, most recently from Heroes and Drake and Josh.
*Grant Baciocco, class of 1988, American Actor/Comedian/Producer, creator of Throwing Toasters, The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd. Also host of the official podcast of the Jim Henson Company and a member of that company's Puppet Up Puppet Improv group. Also an Associate Producer on Cinematic Titanic.
*Tamora Pierce, best selling children's author
*The Grim Reaper, under the alibi Mr. Faatz
