Captain Blue is drugged and apparently goes missing for three months. Regaining consciousness on
Cloudbase , he is ordered by a Spectrum Intelligence agent to prove his identity by revealingtop-secret cipher codes.Plot
Dining at a restaurant with Captain Scarlet, Captain Blue drinks drugged
coffee and disappears. Meanwhile, theMysteron s warn Spectrum that a member of their organisation will betray them all.Blue regains consciousness in what appears to be the
Cloudbase control room facing a man who introduces himself as Colgan, a Spectrum Intelligence agent. Colgan tells Blue that he has been missing for three months and must now prove his identity by giving details of the Spectrum cipher codes. Blue refuses to hand over thistop-secret information and instead tries to prove who he is by describing a number of Spectrum's operations against the Mysterons. However, none of these recollections is enough to persuade Colgan: Blue's account of the Mysteron attempt to destroyLondon ("Big Ben Strikes Again ") is dismissed as useless; the story of the mission to destroy the Mysteron complex on theMoon ("Crater 101 ") is rejected due to its heavy publicity in the media. Meanwhile, the Mysteron plot to assassinate Earth’s top military commanders ("The Trap"), despite never being reported in the press, is also rebuffed.Increasingly suspicious of Colgan's demands that he reveal the codes, Blue tries to leave the control room, but is blocked by a man armed with a gun and a syringe containing a truth-telling drug. Realising that he is being held by Mysteron agents, Blue escapes by smashing through an observation window and finds that the Cloudbase control room is actually a fake constructed inside a
warehouse . Captain Scarlet arrives in an SPV and destroys the building with the vehicle's cannon, informing Blue that he has only been missing for a few hours.Cast
