Lethbridge City Council inLethbridge ,Alberta . After serving two terms on city council and with the resignation ofAlberta Liberal Party leader Ken Nicol, she decided to run in the 2004 provincial election to take his place in theLethbridge East riding. She had been a former Progressive Conservative and ran for the Liberals.Fact|date=September 2007 She won the riding with 5,340 votes, beating her nearest competitor Rod Fong by 637 votes.External links
