On June 1, 2008, the original location in Maitland, Florida went out of business.cite web |url=http://www.meltingpot.com/history.aspx?n=224432 |title=History of the Melting Pot |year=2007 |publisher=The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc. |accessdate=2008-08-15]
