Chitragupta Shrivastava (16 November 1917 - 14 January 1991), better known by his first name alone, was an Indian film music director of the 1960s.

Career

Chitragupta composed music for films like Bada Aadmi,Aplam Chaplam, Opera House, Zabak, Aulad, Main Chup Rahoongi, Akash Deep, Bhabhi (1957), Oonche Log ,Main Shaadi Karane Chala, Ganga ki Laharen, Ek Raazetc .

Personal life

he was born in bihar.His sons Anand-Milind are also noted Bollywood music directors. They worked as assistant music directors with their father for eight years.
