Sharjah Indian School

Sharjah Indian School is school in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates which was set up to meet the needs of Indian children living in Sharjah and the other Emirates. There are around 5,000 students on roll. The school caters for children of all ages from lower kindergarten through to Grade 12. The school was inaugurated on 5 September, 1979 by the then Indian Ambassador Mohammad Hamid Ansari. The Principal of the school is K.N.N and the Vice Principal (formerly Headmaster) is Radhakrishnan Nair (also known as Nada). The school is owned and managed by the Indian Association Sharjah and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education in New Delhi, India.
