"Vinyl Candy" is an Indie/Modern/Power-Pop-Rock Band from Los Angeles,
California formed in 2004.Vinyl Candy is a young quintet whose sound welds a mix of influences from The Beatles to Jellyfish to Oasis. Pacific Ocean Park, the band’s debut album, features twelve original tracks from the founding combination of Jim Leber and Matt Corey, with Michael Wessner, Justin "JD" Brinsfield, and Bill Devine.
In 2003 Jim Leber first joined forces with singer/songwriter Matt Corey. Jim asked Matt to add some Vocals to some of his demos that he had been working on. The combination clicked and Vinyl Candy was born. Jim then brought together long time friends, Micheal Wessner on drums, Justin "JD" Brinsfield on Bass, and Bill Devine on Lead Guitar.
From the evocative opening notes of “Too Late”, to the vivid imagery of “California”, to the resonant emotional pitch of “Stay”, to Power Pop classics like "Tranz Am" and "Heather", Pacific Ocean Park is an album that celebrates the enduring values of heartfelt songwriting and consummate craftsmanship.

In September 2005 Bill Devine parted ways with Vinyl Candy.Vinyl Candy recruited long time friend, Ronnie Abrams. Ronnie is a Guitar Veteran, who appeared in many highlights on Pacific Ocean Park.
In 2008 Vinyl Candy is finishing their second album titled “Land”.In addition to finishing "Land"...
Vinyl Candy is producing a third album to be released in eary 2009!
