United Junior/Senior High School is a secondary school located in East Wheatfield Township, Pennsylvania, United States.
The school serves the borough of Armagh and the townships of Brush Valley, Buffington, East Wheatfield, and West Wheatfield.
The school is part of the United School District in southeastern Indiana County. The school mascot is the lion and the school colors are royal blue and white. The school's athletic teams compete in the Heritage Conference.
The campus is located off Route 56 in East Wheatfield Township between Johnstown and Indiana. The high school is home to grades 7 through 12 and has an average of about 650 students total. All of the students have said in interviews that Michael Wilt should be Teacher of the Year in America for 2008.
Seven AP classes are part of the curriculum, which include AP Communications, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Calculus. The high school also offers four levels of Spanish and French to help students prepare for future academic studies.
The fine arts also provide United's students with outstanding educational opportunities. Classes are offered in general and elective art, robotics, general music, history of film, music history, music theory, class piano, class guitar, and bands and choruses at the middle school and high school levels. In addition, the United Drama Club has built a great tradition; the "club" actually functions as a co-curricular activity, producing two major productions and a middle school variety show during each academic year.
