"The Vietnamization of New Jersey" is a play by Christopher Durang.
The play, written as a parody of the Tony Award-winning 1971 David Rabe play "Sticks and Bones", was first performed on January 28, 1977, at the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. This production was directed by Walt Jones, and featured Kate McGregor-Stewart, Charles Levin, Stephen Rowe, Ben Halley, Jr., Richard Bey, Anne Louise Hoffmann and Jeremy Geidt.
The play made its New York City premiere in January 2007, at the [http://alchemytheatre.org/ Alchemy Theatre Company of Manhattan] . This production was directed by Robert Saxner, and featured Blanche Baker, Frank Deal, Nick Westrate, James Duane Polk, Corey Sullivan, Susan Gross and Michael Cyril Creighton.
