Plot
Set in the fictional Welsh village of Llynfawr, the plot centres around some children who get caught in an area that has been evacuated due to the pending meltdown of a nuclear research station.
Synopsis
When Steve (Toby Bridge) runs away, his sister Maureen (Jayne Collins) enlists the help of his friend Paul (Andrew Ashby). He eventually finds Steve in an abandoned slate quarry.[2] On their return they find the village deserted and are unaware that the village has been evacuated due to danger of explosion at a nearby Nuclear Research Station.[2]
Production
Most of the filming was done on location in North Wales, the nuclear research station featured was actually Trawsfynydd Power Station in Gwynedd.
