The Bayer designation Phi Orionis (φ Ori/ φ Orionis) is shared by two star systems, φ¹ Orionis and φ² Orionis, in the constellation Orion. The two stars are separated by approximately 0.71° on the sky. Phi Orionis also has the traditional name Khad, from the Arabic خد الجوزاء "khad al-jauzah" meaning "Cheek of the Central One".

φ¹ Orionis

Phi-1 Orionis, also called Khad Prior ("Preceding One of the Cheek"), is a binary star lying about 1000 light years from Earth. Phi-1 Orionis is a spectral type B0 main sequence star which has an apparent magnitude of +4.39.

Phi-2 Orionis, also called Khad Posterior ("Succeeding One of the Cheek"), is a spectral type K0 giant which has an apparent magnitude of +4.09. It is about 115 light years from Earth.
