Erin Ashley Mackey is an American actress and singer. She was born June 19,1986 in Fullerton, CA. She performed in musicals from Kindergarten through high school. She won a classical music award for having the most beautiful classical voices of all time. After performing as a "milkmaid" in the musical, "Brigadoon" she was approached by a manager about auditioning for film andtelevision in Los Angeles. Her first audition was for "The Parent Trap" and she was Lindsay Lohan's acting double in the 1998 remake. She attended college at
Carnegie Mellon University for one year as a musical theater major. The summerbefore her sophomore year (2005), she landed a job as a swing on the National Tourof "Wicked". After 7 months on tour, Mackey moved to the Chicago company of "Wicked" as anensemble member and an understudy for Glinda. She took over the role from actress Stacie Morgain Lewis on October 24, 2006. Mackey played her final performance in the Chicago company on April 13, 2008 and was succeeded by Kate Fahrner. Mackey recently reprised her role as Glinda in the Los Angeles company of "Wicked." She began her run on May 20, 2008 replacing Megan Hilty. She is the youngest actress to ever be the principal Glinda in Wicked.Mackey also appeared in an episode with Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.
