Plans for the future
A new strategic plan, called Visions 2006, was developed that calls for a comprehensive reorganization of the museum, including new facilities, new governance, and new programs. Visions 2006 can be viewed on the museum website. In 2008, the museum entered an agreement to move to a new location in the city of Frisco, Texas, that would better meet the strategic plan than the current 1.8-acre (7,300 m2) Fair Park site.[2][1]
