Robert Remez [http://www.columbia.edu/~remez/] is a leading American experimental psychologist, cognitive scientist and theoretician. He is best known for his work on perceptual organization,
speech perception , and the use of the technique ofsinewave synthesis in his experimental and theoretical work. He was the Ann Olin Whitney Professor of Psychology atBarnard College and is a member of the Board of Directors ofHaskins Laboratories .
