The A475 is a direct road from Lampeter to Newcastle Emlyn which runs a total of 19.18 miles. It passes through many villages such as Llanwnen, Drefach, Cwmsychpant, Prengwyn, Horeb. At Horeb the A475 links up with the A486 which leads North to New Quay and South to Llandysul. The A475 crosses through A486 via crossroads and carry on through Horeb to Penrhiwllan, Llandyfriog and then down into Newcastle Emlyn

On 11th September 2001 A Council Lorry Collided with a school bus just down from the Horeb crossroads heading towards Lampeter. Luckily no one was seriously injured.

The A475 has a few hill climbs and some sharp bends especially between Horeb and Newcastle Emlyn.
