Cardinia is a small agricultural town located between Pakenham and Tooradin on the south-eastern fringe of Melbourne, the capital city of Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the Shire of Cardinia.

The Post Office opened on 1 September 1881, known as Cardinia Creek until 1912, and closing in 1970. Citation
