Beaconsfield Upper is a town in the Dandenong Ranges beyond the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the Shire of Cardinia.
In February 1983, the Ash Wednesday fires swept through the area, destroying many houses and claiming lives.
The Beaconsfield-Emerald Road travels through the town. Another main road is named Stoney Creek Rd, for it crosses Stoney Creek, a small river that runs through some private properties, mainly on Albers Road.
