- St. Fagans
St. Fagans (Welsh "Sain Ffagan") is a village in the west of the
city ofCardiff ,Wales and in the traditional county ofGlamorgan .It lies outside the city proper, but inside the associated
principal area . To the south lies the village ofMichaelston-super-Ely , and to the east the suburb ofFairwater . St Fagans lies on theRiver Ely , and previously had arailway station on theSouth Wales Main Line .It is home to
St Fagans National History Museum (formerly called the Museum of Welsh Life) andSt Fagans Castle .In 1648, the
