"Headstrong" is the debut album by the American actress and singer Ashley Tisdale. The album was released on February 6, 2007 in the United States via Warner Bros. Album information

The album was recorded during fall 2006 at different studios like Decoy Studios, Chalice Studios, Rocket Carousel Studios and others. Tisdale co-wrote four songs for the album: "Not Like That", "Suddenly", "Over It" and the bonus track "It's Life". She recorded cover songs by artist Tata Young ("Don't Touch" - originally title "Zoom"), Sandy Molling ("Goin' Crazy" - originally title "All Eyes on You") and Sarah Hudson ("Unlove You"). Tisdale was gliding to release the album at the end of 2006 but for the recordings of her series "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and promotions of "High School Musical", the album was pushed back for the beginning of 2007, being released in February 6.

Promotion

On November 13, 2007, Tisdale released her first music DVD, "There's Something About Ashley", with a three-song trilogy comprised by the music videos "He Said She Said", "Not Like That" and "Suddenly" and a documentary about the "Headstrong" album creation.
