Gerry Mullan is a former Glentoran, Ballymena United, Everton and Coleraine footballer. He hails from Limavady. When Ronnie McFall signed Mullan for Glentoran in 1981 from Everton, he became the most expensive Irish League player, at £30,000. The striker scored 110 goals for Glentoran, (his season best was 27) and gained 4 caps for Northern Ireland. His brother, Lawrence Mullan also played for Glentoran. His nephews Stephen and Philip Lowry play for Ballymena United F.C. and Institute F.C. respectively.
