VALICORES

"VAlorising LInkages between private COnsulting and public RESearch" (VALICORES) is a research project under European Commission's Fifth Framework programme, and was conducted during the period 2001-2004. It was jointly coordinated by Frank Moulaert and Abdel Illah Hamdouch at CNRS in Lille.

The project valorised linkages between private consulting and public research and for an understanding of the role of universities in the the research systems. In this respect, a detailed analysis of the research structures and their relationships with the service companies (mainly consultants) allowed to provide recommendations for the organization of the research, and by associating the traditional systems of research and the organizations of consultancies.
