Landmarks
# An old pineapple packing shed donated by resident Jack Woodward has become one of Pullenvale’s main land marks and has become known as "“Pullenvale hall”". Found along Grandview road it is the centre of many small functions and classes run by the residents of Pullenvale in cooperation with the Local Council.
# One of the oldest pony clubs in Queensland the "Moggill Pony Club" or as it was previously known as before having its name changed the "Leevale Pony Club". The Club was founded in 1949 next to O’Brien Rd and covers 4 hectares of land.Development
Pullenvale started out as an area useful only for its resources of timber and became an early logging area. This changed due to the addition of the Moggill Rd that would act as a link between Brisbane though Moggill to Ipswich. As the road was built the area became accessible and the timber industry gave way to small crop farming and dairying thereby causing an influx in population and the establishment of the Pullenvale State School in 1873. This caused a rural residential style of living to emerge and the school was rebuilt in 1981 to cater for the increasing population density.
