Nick Cretan

Nick Cretan, a graduate of the University of Tasmania, is a successful Australian businessman who has contributed in a major way towards the foundations of tourism in the island state. He is the developer of several recognised establishments within Tasmania such as the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village and Shoreline Hotel, his undying support for the tourism and education industry has seen a scholarship in his name.

With the foundation of his family business Kriticos Nominess Pty Ltd. in 1977, he dedicated the 35 years of his life to sharing and fortifying his knowledge and business finesse to expand and enlighten the Tasmanian community on the importance of economy and strategy. After retiring, Nick focuses on supporting local Tasmanian students who attend the University of Tasmania and undertake study in the field of tourism. Nick Cretan has strong family values, which have helped establish a stable family business for his four children and the upcoming third generation.
