mountain located inOxford County, Maine . It is flanked to the west by Slide Mountain, and to the southeast by Stowe Mountain.Sunday River Whitecap is within the watershed of the
Androscoggin River , which drains intoMerrymeeting Bay , theestuary of theKennebec River , and thence into theGulf of Maine .The north, northeast, and southeast sides of Sunday River Whitecap drain into the Bear River, thence into the Androscoggin.The southwest side drains into Miles Brook, thence into Sunday River and the Androscoggin.Trails to the peak are still in development, including the Grafton Loop trail. Though the trail is incomplete, hikers can easily
